DITMAR DUO
Instructions and Literature
These instructions instructions are courtesy Bob Andrews. The two images, of exactly the same cover, are
just to remind you not to trust digital pictures.
Advertising the Ditmar and its companion camera.
This is another set of instructions, which I assume to be earlier. They are among the most difficult to follow
of any I have met, largely because of a letter-based labelling system which seems to have no obvious logic or
sequence. I have photoshopped most of the pages, but left one or two to show what the original is like. The
number-only labelling in the set of instructions above is quite a bit clearer.

This leaflet came with a price list. The list had already been amended in manuscript to show £2.5.0 for the
Resistance and £3.10.0 for the first of the lenses. The machine it came with, a 9.5/8 machine, actually had
the resistance with it. This looks for all the world like a 200B resistance, but has a brass plate on top
stating it is for a 500w 110v lamp and including reference to Actina Ltd., distributors for the UK and Eire.
There was also a little card with a useful crib for the belts.
